New Indonesian Investment Regulations: Streamlining Business Licensing Through BKPM Reg. 5/2025

In June 2025, Indonesia's Government issued GR 28/2025 to simplify business licensing via a new Risk-Based Business Licensing (PBBR) framework. To mandate the PBBR implementation and update the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, the Minister of Investment/BKPM subsequently issued BKPM Regulation 5/2025, effective 2 October 2025, providing the necessary guidelines and procedures.
