Unlocking Oil and Gas Potential: Cooperation Schemes under MoEMR Reg. 14/2025

On 10 June 2025, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources issued Regulation Number 14 of 2025 on Cooperation in the Management of Work Area Portions for the Enhancement of Oil and Gas Production. The regulation aims to strengthen energy security and support Indonesia’s goal of energy self-sufficiency by providing a framework to boost oil and gas production, encouraging cooperation contract contractors to collaborate with local entities, and optimizing community-managed wells.
