OJK’s New Rules: Updating Electronic Shareholders Meetings, Introducing Electronic Bondholders and Sukukholders Meetings

Starting 1 July 2025, OJK implements OJK Reg. 14/2025 on the electronic conduct of General Meetings for Shareholders, Bondholders, and Sukukholders. The regulation enhances efficiency, ensures legal certainty, and safeguards the rights of these stakeholders. Using platforms provided by the System Provider, the Publicly-Listed Company, and/or the Issuer, meetings are held online while satisfying quorum requirements and enabling participation from anywhere.
