We would like to congratulate our esteemed client PT Sumber Daya Energi (“SDE”), as a part of Qinfa Group, in achieving its first milestone of initial coal production for underground mining activity in Kotabaru. With a total investment of US$300 million, SDE is expecting coal production capacity in the maximum amount of 20 million tonnes per year, while making sure the community involvement remains its priority by conducting trainings on underground mining for the local communities and domestic workers. Ultimately, with such underground mining method, it is expected that it would sustain the mining process without compromising preservation of the environment and habitat in the mining area.
