Haris’ fields of expertise include general corporate, restructuring, investment, capital markets, M&A, project finance, infrastructure, PPP and Oil and Gas Law. He is also well-versed in energy law, as well as the laws relevant to Banking & Finance.  He was rated by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 (since 2001 until 2014 the editions) as a leading individual in the field of Corporate and Merger & Acquisitions. In 2014 he was named by the IFLR 1000 as a leading lawyer in the field of Project Finance and in 2017 as highly regarded lawyer in the same field. Haris has served as a chairman of the Indonesian Capital Market Legal Counsels Association as of 2018. He is also serving as a business law lecturer in the Indonesian Jentera School of Law. Haris is also regarded as one of The A List Indonesia Top 100 Lawyers in 2020-2023 (Asia Business Law Journal) and Distinguished Practitioner in Capital Markets for the 2023/2024 edition of Asia Law.
